TRAVEL GRANTS

A number of travel grants are available from various societies to support Ph.D. students and early-career researchers in actively participating in the symposium.

The current list of possible travel grants is summarized below. Please read the descriptions carefully to check eligibility criteria, application guidelines available further down this page or on the respective provider’s website.

Organization providing travel grants

Austrian Society of Analytical Chemistry (ASAC)

ASAC awards a travel grant (max. EUR 1,000) to a student whose presentation (either oral or poster) has been accepted at the ISC. Please send your application together with a CV, a short letter of motivation explaining why you would like to attend the ISC, and confirmation of the acceptance of your abstract to stephan.hann@boku.ac.at

Separation Sciences Foundation

Through the generous support of the Separation Science Foundation (SSF), the ISC 2026 Organizing Committee is pleased to offer two travel grants to support the participation of young scientists. Click here for detailed criteria and application rules.

ISC 2026 Student Sponsorship : Shimadzu (Europe)

Shimadzu Student Sponsorship: Open to post-graduate students that are currently enrolled at a European University. Any student with a scientific contribution (oral or poster) that has been accepted by the ISC organizing committee for presentation at the conference can apply for this sponsorship that that will cover the cost of the early-bird registration fee.

Working Party Separation Science of the German Chemical Society (GDCh)

The Working Party Separation Science of the Division of Analytical Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) supports young scientists, who will actively participate (with an oral or a poster presentation) in „35th International Symposium on Chromatography (ISC 2026)” in Prague. A limited number of €500 travel grants is available. Young scientists (especially PhD students) can apply for a travel grant until June 20, 2026. Please send your application to the Working Party Separation, Dr. Martin Vogel (martin.vogel@uni-muenster.de), in electronic form. The application needs to contain: signed application form (as pdf file), a copy of your abstract, a confirmation of receipt and/or acceptance for your abstract from ISC 2026’s organizers.

Association Francophone des Sciencies Separatives

PhD students may apply for a travel grant from Afsep covering the registration fee for ISC 2026. For further details, please visit https://afsep.com or contact nathalie.delaunay@espci.fr 

The Division of Analytical Chemistry of the Società Chimica Italiana

The Division of Analytical Chemistry of the Società Chimica Italiana will sponsor two scholarships for ISC 2026 (Prague)—one for a PhD candidate and one for a postdoctoral researcher, each covering the value of the early-bird registration fee for the symposium. Spanish Society of Chromatography and Related Techniques (SECyTA)

SECyTA will sponsor several grants for PhD students who are members of the Society to attend the ISC 2026 conference and present their work. The grant application requirements will be available on  https://www.secyta.es/es/grantssecyta.

The Centre of Competence in Analytic Chemistry and Toxicology
