Complimentary public transport ticket

Registered participants are entitled to a complimentary public transport ticket valid in Prague. The tickets will be valid from 5 September 2026 at 00:00 until 11 September 2026 at 23:59. Instructions on how to download the public transport app and the activation code will be sent to you by email prior to the conference. 

How to get there:

The Prague Congress Centre is located on the red metro line C, at Vyšehrad station 

When you exit the metro station at Vyšehrad, go up the stairs. The route from Vyšehrad metro station will be marked with adhesive navigation stickers on the ground leading to Entrance No. 5. Escalators will take you to the 1st floor, where you will find the cloakroom, and to the 2nd floor, where the symposium takes place 

Construction Updates of the New Hall & Taxi drop off:

Due to the construction of the New Exhibition Hall, the arrival by taxi will be from the Hotel Holiday Inn side, with the entrance located on Na Pankráci Street. Once you enter, you will see a small roundabout with a K+R parking area at the end, where taxis can easily drop you off or pick you up.

Delegates who have not yet paid the registration fee in full will be asked to settle the outstanding balance. Access to the symposium will not be permitted without a valid name badge. In case of a lost badge, please contact the registration desk. Kindly note that badge reissuance is subject to a 10 EUR administrative fee.

The Gala dinner is not included in the registration fee.
The transportation is not provided.

The easiest way to get from the Prague Congress Centre to the National House Vinohrady is by public transport:

  • Walk to Vyšehrad Metro Station (Line C – red line), located next to the Prague Congress Centre.
  • Take Metro Line C towards Letňany and get off at I. P. Pavlova (1 stop).
  • From I. P. Pavlova, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the National House Vinohrady at Náměstí Míru.

Estimated journey time: approx. 15 minutes.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Please note that it is not possible to present from your laptop in the lecture room. All presentations (except for short courses) must be uploaded. There are two options for uploading your presentation:

Online in advance (recommended)

You will be encouraged to upload your presentation online before arriving at the venue. The online file upload link will be shared at the end of August 2026.

OR

On-site at the venue

If your presentation has not been uploaded online, it must be handed over to the IT personnel with a USB stick as far in advance as possible but no later than 2 hours before the start of your session. You will be able to verify that your presentation is running smoothly.

The Speakers’ Preview Room is located in Room 2.1 and the opening hours are as follows:

PAVEL JANDERA YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD

The Award Jury evaluates eligible oral presentations and selects a winner based on the overall quality and delivery of the presentation, as well as the scientific quality and relevance of the results.

Eight nominees have been selected and are marked with a star at the beginning of their abstract title in the program. The Pavel Jandera Award will be announced before the Closing Ceremony on Thursday, 10 September, from 14:00 to 14:30.

POSTERS

All poster presenting authors are asked to bring their printed posters to the venue. The required poster size is A0, PORTRAIT ORIENTATION – 84.1 cm wide and 118.9 cm high.

The poster area will be in the Terrace Hall 2A + 2B and will be open for poster mounting from Sunday, 6 September, 13:00. Posters should be set up by Monday, 7 September, 8:30. Suitable fixing material will be provided by the Secretariat on-site. Please make sure to mount your poster on the poster board with the number corresponding to the number assigned to your poster (sent recently via e-mail). Please remove your poster by Thursday, 10 September, 15:00.

Poster authors are required to be present during the dedicated poster session to answer questions from delegates in Terrace Hall 2A + 2B.

BEST POSTER AWARDS

The posters will be evaluated by the international panel of reviewers. The 16 best posters will be nominated for the Best Poster Award. The nominees will be notified and invited to attend the poster session on Wednesday, 9 September, 13:00-14:00, for the second evaluation round. The Best Poster Award winners will be announced before the Closing ceremony on Thursday, 10 September, 14:00-14:30.

JOB FAIR

The CV submission period has been extended! Participating candidates can now submit their CVs to careers@isc2026.org until 30 August, allowing companies to review profiles in advance and identify potential matches based on expertise, experience, and career interests.

The exhibition area is located on the 2nd floor of the Prague Congress Centre (on the same floor as the scientific program is held).

OTHER

CERTIFICATES

All registered delegates present on-site are entitled to receive a Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Oral Presentation (speakers), and Certificate of Poster Presentation (poster authors). The certificates can be downloaded from the Online Registration Portal after the Symposium.

Lunches and Coffee Breaks

Lunches and coffee breaks will be available to all registered delegates throughout the Short Courses and the main Symposium days.

  • During the Short Courses:Coffee breaks and a light lunch will be served in the area in front of the Clubs.
  • During the Main Symposium:Lunches will be served on the 1st floor, located on one floor below the main Symposium floor. Limited seating will also be available on this floor.
    Coffee breaks will be served on the 2nd floor, in the main foyer where the Symposium and exhibition are located.

INTERNET

Free Wi-Fi internet connection is available in the venue.
