Jandera Award

The Jandera Award commemorates the distinguished career of Professor Pavel Jandera and honors researchers who have made major contributions to the theory and practice of high-performance liquid chromatography and related separation sciences. It recognizes outstanding achievement in advancing retention mechanisms, column technology, multidimensional separations, or method development in liquid-phase chromatography. The recipient of the Jandera award will deliver an invited lecture. 

Martin Medal (awarded by The Chromatographic Society)

The Martin Medal is the highest honor bestowed by the Chromatographic Society. Named after Professor A. J. P. Martin, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry (1952) for the invention of partition chromatography, this medal recognizes scientists who have made outstanding and sustained contributions to the advancement of separation science. It celebrates individuals whose research, innovation, and leadership have had a lasting impact on the field of chromatography, both in theory and in practice. 

Jubilee Medal (awarded by The Chromatographic Society)

The Jubilee Medal, established in 1982 to mark the 25th anniversary of the Chromatographic Society, is awarded to up-and-coming scientists who have made major use of separation science in their field or who have significantly advanced a particular area of chromatography. The medal honors those who demonstrate excellence, originality, and promise in the development or application of chromatographic methods. 

J. F. K. Huber Award
(awarded by the Austrian Society for Analytical Chemistry)

The J. F. K. Huber Lecture Award, founded by the Austrian Society for Analytical Chemistry, commemorates Professor Joseph Franz Karl Huber—one of the pioneers of modern high-performance liquid chromatography. The award recognizes researchers who have made major contributions to the development of HPLC in both theory and practice. It is presented to scientists whose fundamental and methodological work has advanced the understanding and performance of liquid-phase separations. 

Best Poster Award 

The Best Poster Award (BPA) highlights the importance of poster sessions within the separation science-based symposiums. It provides stimulus and incentive for academic, industrial, and institutional scientists to present their latest research in chromatography. In particular, the award aims to foster young scientists, encouraging them to share their work and engage with the international community at the beginning of their scientific careers. Posters are evaluated on innovation, scientific quality, clarity of presentation, and potential impact.
